Forest Hills has been identified as a potential Historic Preservation District. In the coming months, there will be a series of meetings for neighborhood residents to discuss the proposal. A new section has been added to the FHNA website (http://www.foresthillsneighbors.org/) titled "Historic Preservation" at the top. Information on the topic will be added to this section as it becomes available. If you would like to be kept up to date, check this page often which will be updated whenever new information is added to the main website. If you have a google account, you can sign up to "Follow This Blog" (left margin) so you will be notified when new information is available.
Stay tuned...

Thursdays meeting was very helpful despite the attempt by two very rude individuals to derail it. I hope someday those two individuals will see how counter productive their childish behavior is. Kudos to those who kept the meeting on track.
ReplyDeleteTo Jeremy Griffith,
ReplyDeleteTo quote Barry Goldwater, "extremism in the defence of liberty is not a vice." The Chapter 149 violates the constitutions of the United States and the State of New York. I for one honor the rule of law, the rule of bureaucrats and nosy neighbors. I am a freeman and will not submit to the tyranny of the government or the mob. I value my liberty above my house. It would be good if we all shared that value.

...also, kudos to those who contributed to the shared pool of knowlege. I'm confident that we can use your ideas to reach the right decision for our community. Thanks!

Terry,
ReplyDeleteI support your motives, not your methods.
